Tuhis Brush Set 2025 for Procreate

This is the 2025 version of the Tuhis Brush Set, optimised for Procreate 5.3. This update doesn’t add any new brushes but instead contains tweaks to certain brushes like Jalava, which is now a lot more versatile inker than before, and Ukko, which now behaves more like I need it to behave. Many other brushes have also been fine-tuned, for example Miso Water no longer changes its hue on each stroke because that turned out to be mostly an unwanted feature when working on actual illustrations.

These brushes are the tools that I use for my professional illustration work, so I’m constantly tailoring them to my own needs. I like to keep the old brush sets available too in case someone prefers the behaviour of brushes in those, but downloading the latest version of the set ensures you're getting the brushes as I think they are at their best. We all have our own preferences though, so if something feels a bit off when drawing feel free to adjust any of the settings to make the brush better suit the way you draw. I’ve added reset points to every brush, so it’s always possible to revert all settings back to the way they were originally.

All the brushes are optimised for Procreate 5.3 on an iPad with the first or second generation Apple Pencil. I unfortunately have no idea how these work with the Apple Pencil Pro, but I’m assuming they work alright! The brush set can be installed on Procreate Pocket too, but you will be missing many of the features, as almost all brushes rely either on pressure or tilt, usually both.

The brushes can be used freely on personal and commercial projects. Obviously selling the actual brushes themselves is not allowed. Don’t do that.
